Is anyone tired of

everyplace you go wanting so much money for the damn deposit!!!!!!! It's insanity I tell ya!!! I sware people better cover their plates at the wedding!!!!:cashmoney

I mean don't get me wrong up until the day of the wedding this is a HUGE expense (well worht it but huge expense) but during the holiday season all I have to say is...WOW!!!!

I know the feeling. I have to pay $3600 in February and its just so crazy. I really can not afford the holidays at all this year, but after the wedding things will be back to normal.

maybe i've been lucky... my deposits have been very lwo. so far we've only laid out
$750.00 for the hall, $750.00 for tha band $750.00 for photo/video, $200.00 for limo and I think $125.00 for flowers and she was willing to take anything and a $100.00 for the RD place...

i would almost rather have paid more upfront because we are going to be hit hard at the wedding!

We haven't had that problem, THANK GOD!!! But even still, it's alot of money to be shellin out all at once.

U have been lucky For hall, gown, headpiece, veil, blusher, band, photgrapher, florist i am already close to 6 grand its insanity!!!!

i try and think of it in a 'glass is half full' way...the more you pay NOW, the less you have to pay LATER. i put down big deposits on everything--on purpose, so that i would have less to pay later.

sometimes when ppl put down small deposits--as the big day gets closer, they feel sooo overwhelmed at how much $$ they need! if you are putting big bucks down so far ahead of time, it's less you have to pay later!

but i do feel your pain.

Tell me about it I just had to give my hall $13,000. Chirstmas present this year were very inexpensive.

I am not having that prob. Only had to leave $500 for the hall, $290 for video and nothing for the DJ..but I can imagine how that can be a pain in the A$$
