Is anyone using a coordinator?

How much is it? Do you think it's worth it?

I'm starting to feel like we have so many elements going into this and I'm at wit's end maybe the help of a pro wouldn;t be so bad

Yes thats for day of. They all had other packages but that was all I wanted. I posted on the vendor board and they were pretty quick to respond.

You contact Michelle Nocella from The Defining Moments, she's a vendor here.

She's my DOC and I love her already!! She's really sweet and organized and I'm so happy that I decided to get a DOC. While the DOC is there w/ you the whole day, they actually start working w/ you a month beforehand to help you coordinate everything.

Did anyone book anyone for coordination before the day of? I'm thinking of hiring someone to help me get some ideas, and help me piece it all together, since I'm going back to school in a few weeks and then I wont ahve time to do ANYTHING until may

Not to offend anyone, but if I told either side of the family that I was going to hire a coordindator for the wedding, they would all look at me like I'm crazy. They think hiring a coordinator is reserved for the Hiltons or something! They don't think planning a wedding is all that hard!

And here I am, about to . I'm just so done with all this planning. I want a coordinator!!! lol

Prices range from 300-1500 for day of coordination.

I definitely think it is worth it. After all the time and money invested, what is peace of mind the day of worth??? I have so many things going on the day of (as in the groom is arriving at the ceremony by boat, weather permitting, I am in all likelihood arriving by horse and carriage, and the timing has to be just right).

I received quotes between $350 and $1000.

I booked Francesca from Dazzling Affairs, and have been calm ever since.
