Is anyone using any officiants from LIWEDDINGS?

We are using Rev Callahan.

OK, here's my story. I was suppossed to use Revered Callahan. We loved him! Then the night before my wedding as I was leaving for the RD he called and said he was sick so he couldn't make it I was so stressed because I am so picky when it comes to people I feel comfortable around performing my ceremony!! He said Rev. Mc Cormick would do our ceremony for us. I was so nervous because we never met him or discussed our ceremony which was suppossed to be personalized And Rev. Callahan FORGOT what he was suppossed to do for the ceremony... like he forgot we chose readings and stuff I think he must have been REALLY sick because it didn't seem like him. We emailed Rev. McCormick a copy of our program as we left for the RD.
So when we got to the hall we got to meet Rev. McCormick like 10 mins before the ceremony. Let me tell you the ceremony was PERFECT! He did such a great job... everythiing I wanted, on such short notice.
So, I would recommend you call Tom McCormick

I think I will give Rev Callahan a try too. How many officiants did you have appts with? do you shop around for officiants like any other vendor? seems like a different thing...not like a photographer or something!

We only saw Rev. Callahan and clicked right away. I don't know why but I get a very uncomfortable feeling around some priests.. I am not very religious.. so I knew right away when I liked Rev. Callahan.

Also at the WOTY, April from the Church of Ancien Ways perfomed the ceremony for Cheryl and Mike. I really liked her also!

I get nervous around priests too.

For some reason, I don't want to be married by a female? I noticed that there are a lot of female officiants on here. But, I guess since I'm Catholic I place that position for a man. Not that there is anything wrong with a woman. BUT my family is very Catholic (everyone else) and the fact I'm not getting married in church is already a big enough deal. If I picked a woman, I can't even lie and say she's a priest to my old italian aunts!!!
