Re: Is anyone worried about being uncomfortable?
I am wondering how I am going to sit down. My skirt is so poofy that when I tried to sit at David's Bridal, the skirt pushed the chair back and I fell flat on my @ss.
A little but I think the adrenaline will keep us from noticing...

This is true.
Believe me I thought the same thing! Especially about my feet but everything worked out fine.

Re: Is anyone worried about being uncomfortable?
If I'm standing, I'll be fine - I bought comfy slippers If I sit, I know I'll be uncomfortable, so I'll try to minimize my time at the dais. lol

Re: Is anyone worried about being uncomfortable?
This post reminded me of a funny story. I had a cousin who got married a few years ago. She was always a real tomboy! Seeing her at the church with her long, elegant wedding gown and high heels, the rest of my cousins and I (we all pretty much grew up together), were amazed at her transformation into a real girl. When she appeared at her reception though - she was wearing jeans and cowboy boots!! We all said, 'yep, that's Sheila!'

A little bit but I love to play dress up once in a while especially when I get to play princess for a day

Re: Is anyone worried about being uncomfortable?
That is why it took me so long to find a dress. Every time I tried on a dress I wanted to sit in it, bend, twist and run across the store. Everyone thought I was nuts but I want to be boogeying on the dance floor

I am not really worried. I will be wearing sneakers on my wedding day - since I broke my foot and can't wear shoes - at least I'll be comfy

Re: Is anyone worried about being uncomfortable?
Yes! My dress isn't terribly heavy or poofy, but I'm getting married in mid-July. Need I say more? I worry about being hot and sweaty. Groom too--he gets overheated far sooner than I do.
My shoes are dreamy though. Not the most beautiful I have seen, but pretty and very comfortable. Other brides have told me over and over. Go for the comfortable shoes and forget high heels.

Re: Is anyone worried about being uncomfortable?
My dress was sooo light and comfy all day!! But I am not used to being in heels and I am a bad bride and didn't really break my shoes soooo I wound up in slippers for 99% of the night.

Glad to see I am not the only one that is worried about this. I'm sure I'll be fine but it is one of the thoughts in the back of my head.

Re: Is anyone worried about being uncomfortable?
yes, but i have expressed this concern to married friends and the reply is always 'you won't notice a thing!'
My girlfriend didn't notice her feet were BLEEDING until she had said good bye to the last guest. She laughs about it now, but didn't feel a thing - most likely from the adrenaline!

I'm not worried about my dress, it's not super poofy or heavy - I'm worried about my feet! I need to make sure I find comfy shoes!!

Re: Is anyone worried about being uncomfortable?
My dress is really simple and comfy but I am worried about my hair. After each trial I had a headache in about an hour- this is going to be the most uncomfortable part for me.
