Is anyone's shower list bordering on the ridiculous!
I have a little over 50 people on my shower list I am sure a lot will decline, but still..what if they DON'T! my poor (2 person!!) BP!

I'm splitting them up - one in PA where my parents live and one in NYC - 60 in all, so yes it's a bit ridiculous, but splitting it up helps me to make sense of it

I have about 50 as well. It's not ridiculous as far as I'm concerned.

Ridiculous is like 70 plus people!! My MOH had like 80 invites go out for her shower!!

I guess I just feel badly b/c it's only being split bet. 2 people (the 3rd dropped out of the wedding) and it's at a restaurant....
they haven't complained, but I know it's a strain.

mine - it is at 60. I never even met 6 people on the list (thank you FILs for being a pain in my butt).

I'd say that's about right. 50 - 70 people. I think you're more stressed about it being a burden on 2 wonderful people.

That would be a lot for me. Mine was at home and less than 20 people went and still to me that was a lot.
So I know how you feel.
More reason to get them a nice gift.

I know what you mean......my list is at about 75 people, which I am hoping only 50-60 show up....my Mom is paying for it but I feel bad because she already spend so much, plus her taxes are due by 4/15 and she owes a lot..... .... that's why I wouldn't mind having it in my backyard....

Thats what my shower list looks like and I can't stand it...I would love to have around 30 people if that...unfortunately FH's family is quite large and woman - and we're just talking first cousins and aunts...

No, mine is the opposite. We are having probably 20-25. Nice and small. I have a small family, though.

my fmil has a list of over 30!!! my side is about 29, i'm reallly hoping we only get about 30 people. i don't need 60 people at my shower.

Mine did - I think we invited 60 and we had about 40. I'm thankful that OCD Mom wanted to do it all because 3 of my good BMs would have had to pick up the slack for the 2 bad ones.
