i wore black also and i think people like to see something other then white! i had never heard of this before i came on this site about wearing white to your shower... wear a nice bright colored shoe to add a little twist!

i wore black for my shower with white trim on the bottom. I liked it, i know some were saying i shouldn't but i dont see anything wrong with it

Tha is so funny...I ALWAYS wear black and my MOH said please wear something other than black, but I didn't find anything I liked. So I got this really cute black dress with white lining. So YES it's perfectly fine

Not at all. You could pair it with colored jewelry and shoes to brighten the outfit, add a colored cardigan too. I also bought something I could wear after my shower.
