Is cashmere too warm for April?

Is cashmere too warm for April?

I was thinking of getting BMs an ivory cashmere cardigan to go with their dresses as their BM gift in case it gets chilly that day. They don't have to wear it but they can if you they want. But my wedding is in mid April. Is that still cashmere weather where they could wear it on the day if it was chilly and then after or no?

oh boy, I thought you said 'August' so I selected 'too warm' sorry!!

I think even April may be a bit warm. The way the weather has been lately, it's been warm earlier and earlier each year. Does it have to be a cardigan? Why not just get some of those pashimas? They are beautiful, warm and come in all different colors. They aren't as warm as cashmere I think.

Is there a place having a sale on cashmere cardigans, that you have to use them? Why not try a different material. Cotton is always nice for hot or cold weather, IMO.

I was thinking of getting pashminas at first but they might not be warm enough because our place is on the water. I was only thinking cashmere because it would make a nice gift. I didn't think a plain white cotton cardigan would be all that great a BM gift.

ahh yea, maybe buy them, if they are too warm, then they can at least have a nice cardigan for the cooler months, and if they are cold at the wedding they can still wear it. :)
