Is diamond white actually white? Upset about my dress..calling shop today..
I am soooo upset because I think the dress shop ordered my dress in ivory instead of white. Everytime I see a girl in my dress on this site, the embroidery looks silver on theirs, and mine looked gold. I think I remember her saying she ordered diamond white for me....my FH's tux is white, so if it is actually ivory I will look dirty, I feel sick

Diamond white is between white and ivory. My gown was diamond white - pics are in my album. (non-pro with bad lighting, but you can get an idea) DH's shirt and the GMs' shirts were white.
You do white shirts with diamond white b/c it's not dark enough to do with ivory shirts.
It'll be fine if it's diamond white.
It'll probably even be fine if it's ivory. You can always change the tux shirt color to ivory if it is ivory -- but many girls have ivory dresses and white shirts and it looks fine.
ETA - think of diamond white as white, but a little softer / less severe. I was too pale for white, but my dress didn't come in ivory - so I went for diamond white. It looked very elegant and, for all intents and purposes, it looked white.
