Is Eldine a male or female name???

Do you know anyone named Eldine?

I am working on place cards and don't know if I should put Mr. or Ms.

This person is one of FMIL's guests and she is currently out of the country and I can't ask her.

It sounds feminine, but I googled Eldine and the name 'Eldine Baptisite' kept popping up - apparently HE was a cricket player from the West Indies. HTH!

I think you should just write the name out and ignore the M at the beginning... he or she probably won't even notice, and then you don't have to worry about it.

From my quick search, it appears to be a man's name. Can you just save that place card for last and ask your FMIL when she returns? (I assume she'll be at the wedding, so I'm guessing she comes back this week?)

Would your FI know?

i agree... maybe leave that placecard on the top of the pile, and ask FMIL as soon as she comes back and fix it... or try to think of anyone else who might know...
