I am doing them...I think it's a nice way to introduce the bridal party (more than half are our friends who most family don't know), and put a special note in thanking everyone for coming and thanking our parents for their support....but I don't think it's a necessity!

ETS: we're DIYing ours so they really aren't going to cost much at all....

I am making fan ones maybe. Though I am only doing a ceremony, but it may be hot & they can at least fan themselves with it.

Plus I am more doing it for me. I want it as a keepsake & I will probably put a prayer for remembrance in there.

You should! I think this is such a special keepsake... I sometimes prefer the Program over the favor!! LOL. You can DIY and buy the paper to print them on in staples. I was just in there today and they sell them by the box.. Good Luck!

I plan (and it's only a plan as there is still so much time to go) to sort of splurge on them as it's one of the things I personally LOVE at weddings. I am hoping to get covers made by Blooming Quill or Pendragon or the like something similar to this (the inside I will make myself and I will tie the whole thing with ribbon matching the BM dresses, also the rose will be red):

I couldn't agree more. I totally prefer them to any favor and have kept all the programs from my friends weddings.
