Is everyone planning their own wedding?

Or having a planner?
I'm doing both, you only get married once and i'd like to share in some of the fun. But leaving all the hard parts to planners, lol.

That sounds like a great idea! I guess i would prefer to plan it on my own if time allowed, but i do a lot of business travel and usually am exsausted when i get home.
I am taking the mo. off before the wedding, so i'll be able to have a lot of hands on, which i know i will enjoy.

I am planning my own wedding but hired a day of coordinator.

I'm planning my own wedding with help from mom, but was thinking of a day of coordinator. If you don't mind me asking, about how much is a day of coordinator cost?

My FH and I are planning the whole thing ourselves. The dayof we plan to delegate certain jobs to our BP and we get a bridal attendant at our reception hall.

honestly, i would not be happy to give anything over to a coordsinator! i am loving doing this myself and executing my vision my way. A day of coordinator makes sense for some places - but at Raphael the woman who runs the show also runs the wedding - she actually asked that there not be a day of coordinator. That was a relief...

Plus, I think my mother and coordinator would kil each other - she is somewhat of a party planner and will get her nose in everything anyway.

I am planning on my own.. but my MOH is an event planner... and now I work with her and a bunch of other event planners-- very helpful to have around-- especially when booking the reception, with contracts, etc.

My friends could all seriously be wedding planners too- well, at least two of them that are in the BP. I have also been getting a lot of helpful advice from my banquet manager at my venue.

planning it myself. can barely afford a wedding, much less a planner. besides, I have control issues

of plannning to that day - yr wedding

I am planning it on my own though my FH is so helpful. He comes to all the vendors with me and we make all the decisions together. His mom has been helping us with flowers and favors (she is super creative). It is a fun process - tho it does have its stressful moments. I am glad to do it with FH and the whole process has brought us even closer together.
