We are feeding the band, but also wanted to tip them.
If we tip $50 each member its $400. As most of you know, as the day gets closer, the less money you suddenly have.
Would it be stupid to give them less than $50 each?

some of the bands we've met with said we didn't need to feed or tip them--which i loved. i thought it was good that they said it wasn't something we HAD to do. all of the band members are being paid to do your wedding and you are feeding them so i say give them what you can if it's 50 that is fine if it's less it is still more then the salary they are getting.

We ran into the same problem. I would have liked to tip each band member $50, but we just didn't have the money. We wound up tipping $30 per member because that's what we could afford.

We tipped each person in the band 50 dolalrs each and we had nine people. They were the greatest everybody keeps raving about them so i am glad we tipped them as much as we did.
