I'm not. We're going to put fresh flowers on the cake for decoration.

We want to get one of those humorous ones. The ones where the husband is running away and the wife is running after him. Or the husband on the leash.

When we told my mom about that idea, she was not pleased!

memorycabbinet.com makes personalized military ones i love it they will put the correct rank on his coat and everything they can make you a matching ornament to it to i might get one to put on our table and then we can put it on the tree every year or just display them both but they were by far the only military cake toppers that i found that i loved... stinks that i have to wait to order it though in case he gets another promotion.

i got a simple figuirine one to go on the cake table, and then got a monogram one to go ontop of the cake, and i also plan on putting flowers somewhere on the cake
