You can use either one. However, if you use favour, you should use honour and visa versa. HTH!

Actually neither is incorrect. using the british spelling (favour and honour) is often considered more elegant or fancy. We chose to use the British spelling of each, however either can be used.

I had honour - but FH saw the proof of the invite and got a little upset that we are not using 'real english' as he called it. I compromised and changed it to honor.

Without the u's is correct, due to our location.......
As others already mentioned, the U's are british spelling.... In my opinion, it is best to consistently use American English throughout the invitation, since that is what you speak and likely use for everyday correspondence.
But then again, RSVP is french, yet we all use that an acronym.....

this is one of the few thing fh and I agree on. We hate the british spelling, we think its to upperty. We are sticking to honor and favor.

either is fine, honestly. just do them together (favor and honor; OR favour and honour), as favor and honour would look a little off.

Technically you can do it either-if you do HONOR you do FAVOR If you do honour you do favour I know that much.
I also think that you are supposed to do honour and favour if your ceremony is in a church but not sure on that
