Is FH taking a peek?

Okay, so how many of you laldies are keeping yourselves hidden until the very moment you walk down the aisle?? I am! FH doesn't hawve a clue as to what my dress looks like, what kind of hairstyle I am doing, what my makeup will look like...nothing!

How are you girls doin it?

we're doing pics before the ceremony.. so, there will be a moment where we'll see each other for the first time-- but, it will be when we both finish getting ready.

I see, I opted to miss part of the CH for pics. I dunno why, but I feel like after all this planning I want him to be totally surprised when I walk down the aisle! I know Ill be hysterical, and I know this way he will be too! h

We're not going to see eachother until I walk down the isle. Our ceremony is at 4, and CH doesn't start till 7, so we'll have plenty of time for pictures.

we are doing pics before - trust me - i have
that well thought out - to capture the element of surprise + a very good photographer

We are also taking pics before the wedding. The wedding is at 12pm and the reception is 12:30pm so there is really no time for pics after and I don't want to miss my reception for pictures.

I am trying to keep the way I look a secret since there are no secrets between us (I told him that he saw everything beneath the dress, so he at least wont see the dress)

I am not seeing him until I walk into the church...I think I am the most excited about that part of the day!

I wish I had plenty of time for pics! My ceremony is at 10:00am and my cocktail hour begins at 11:45. Yikes!

He's not seeing me until 'here comes the bride starts'! Which kind of kills out picture time, since our ceremony is at the same place as our reception we're going to be screwed.

no offense to anyone at all, but whats the big deal if the groom sees the bride before the wedding? i understand that it may be a tradition, but really, what difference does it make?! i like the idea of seeing each other for first time with the photographer ... thats cute.

I saw a wedding pic once that was genius, the bride and groom didnt see each other yet, but took a pic together.. they were on opposite sides of a door, but holding hands.. it was the best pic i may have ever seen.

There really isnt a big deal. I just dont keep any secrets from FH and I think this is one that I might be able to hold quiet. Not only that I want to be just as surprised seeing him for the first time all decked out and handsome as he is about me. Going into hiding is beneficial for both of us.

My feelings exactly! I also tell my fiance everything and since it worked out that we're having a church wedding I want it as emotional as possible. I want some element of surprise.

ohh you are too funy!!! I am keeping everything a surprise he has an idea of dresses I like but he has no clue which one I picked this man has no idea about anyting I even picked the tux the flowers, cake you name it I am doin it. :)
