Lord and Taylor bought out Fortunoffs last year, and I believe they are now selling it. They are 'technically' the same company, but Lord and Taylor is not closing from what I know, they are just looking to sell Fortunoffs because it is not profitable
Yeah i have a friend who worked in corporate for Fortunoff and now she moved over to Lord and Taylor......
oh well... there was a glimmer of shoe hope that I catch all those Betsey Johnson shoes to be on sale... well the only good thing is that people still have jobs!
They were owned by the same private equity firm but now that firm is selling foruntoffs....they were suppose to inter-connect both stores some how but that will no longer be happening as Fortunoffs is most likely closing soon since they have no buyers.
