Is He Crazy??

So with 22 days left until our wedding, I thought I had everything under control until FH informed me that he feels he was very rude to not invite some of his Mom's friends and he is going to invite 7 couples. I was speechless. He said 'Well, we have enough room and money...it's the right thing to do...'

22 days!!

The final numbers for the menus, favors, cake, programs etc. were already given...Our RSVP date was June 1st!!

I told him all of this and said that if he really felt compelled to invite them then the invitations are in the desk and blah blah blah...

What should I do?

I'd probably just let him invite them and then try to fix the numbers for everything else... but that's just me... I can imagine the stress you're feeling with this happening so close to your wedding day!!! I hope it works out the way it's meant to!!!

Yeah, he's a little crazy, but a lot of times we brides forget that it is their day too, so I would just let him. If you do in fact have the room and the money- and it makes him happy- why not! I know it is frustrating, but it is doable right?

Yup FH is just a little coo-coo. I'm sorry! Boys are clueless, what can we say? As long as you can put up the money, go for it! It's just nuts of him to come to you with such little notice! Fixing the numbers might be a headache....but if he wants people there, maybe it's worth it. I feel bad enough FH is waiting until we have more nos before he invites people from work!

I would definitely tell him that these people may feel slighted because you're inviting them so late. 22 days to the wedding definitely means they will know they were an afterthought!!
If he's ok with that, then I guess I'd just let him invite them.

I agree with everyone let him invite them but they probably wont show up cuz of the short notice.
