If we are registered for a honeymoon registry only? I initially wanted to have that along w/the big day and bed bath and beyond, but our hope was that guests would contribute towards our honeymoon since we have everything we need at home.

Did you have your shower yet?? If not i would definitely register at BB&B or someplace, because people like to see you open things and if they see you are only registered for a honeymoon they might get you even more useless junk... this case at least they will get you useless junk that you kind of wanted, and know where to return if need be...

No I haven't had it yet. I think I'll keep it for that reason exactly!!! Thanks...I just needed reassurance.

Wel I guess they can all just give you $$$$ but if you are going to have a shower gift will be nice maybe reg at your favorite store you can always use new towels and bed sheets, and gift cards

I'd register at BB&B for all the stated reasons...people will get you stuff you won't even use if you don't at least give them a reference...and I'm not so sure that everyone (like older relatives) will fare with a honeymoon registry...usually they are online and some may not understand how it works at all. Result: more sea foam green towels for the bathroom you just painted dark blue. If all else fails, from what I hear, BB&B gives you cash for returns on registries...maybe do both.
