To have chocolate at a wedding in July? Let me explain.
I should of thought about this before I brought the wrappers. Anyway, I brought about 100 personalized candy wrappers...but my wedding is in July..and well, its hot in July...should I still do it? Or avoid it?
I plan on putting a nugget on everyones plate at the reception.

I think it'll be fine. I'm sure they won't melt in the time you bring them to your RH & once you get there they can refrigerate them if they have to.

I think if ithe reception is inside it will be fine. There will be AC and there will be no worrying if it will melt. If it were outside then I would say no b/c then it will melt and then will be all messy to eat

I think as long as they are inside they would be ok!

Are you having the reception inside or outside? If you are having it outside, like at the vineyards or something, I wouldn't do it. But if you are inside with a/c then go for it!

If its inside you will be fine. My FSIL got married in May in orlando and she had the same thing as favors and they were fine.

I think you will be fine and you could always freeze the candy before hand if you think they might melt but I think you will be okay.

Re: Is it a good idea?
im very weary about it, not sure i was thinking somewhere along those lines but my mother really wants me to stay away from itt...she just thinks chocolate + heat = BAD IDEA...but like someone else said u can always FREEZE it...or refrigerate them for a lil bit

Re: Is it a good idea?
My reception is going to be indoors, thats why I am still considering it. Since there is ac, I dont see why there should be a problem. I will probably end up freezing them...makes sense that way. Thanks girls

if its indoor it will be fine. chances are since its chocolate people arent going to wait too long to eat it! i did large chocolate bars for my brothers graduation party last june and it was so hot and humid.....they were fine, we had no ac at our house either. i think you will be fine.

Why wouldnt I be able to put them on the plates myself?
I understand your point about the plates being warm...I didnt think about that.
