IM JUSTREALLY NOT A FLOWER PERSON... I INITIALLY THOUGHT OF 4 CALLI LILLIES THAT REPRESENT ME FH AND MY TWO GIRLS...BUT AHH CHANGE OF HEART...

if you want to carry a bouquet, but you don't care much for flowers, how do you feel about a crystal bouquet?

When I met with my florist, she showed me options for grooms boutieneres (sp?) that included things like herbs. If you like something like that, you could probably have someone make that into an alternative bouquet. A newly engaged friend of mine heard of a bride making a pocket in her dress so she can carry a pic of her deceased father...if there is a family member you were close to that's not around, you could do something like that, of course on a larger scale. It's your wedding, do what's natural for you, not what etiquette mavens tell you to do!

i saw in a bridal flower magazine the bride had 4 small flower balls tied with a ribbon around her wrist. they were small, white flowers, and they all hung at different lengths. it was really pretty and really simple.
here's a pic of a flower ball that a flower girl would carry. the picture of the bridal one i saw had the flower balls about 1/2 of the size of this one. it was really pretty and its something different.

I know someone who carried down a bible with rosary beads hanging from it, which I thought was beautiful.
