I think you still have some time. I'd try to order by the end of this month/beginning of next, just to be sure!
i would really light that fire under your *** imo... 8 months isnt a ton of time... some deisgners take longer than others... you dont want want to fall in love with a dress and then find out it would never be here in time
I think you're fine. I wouldn't wait more than another 12 weeks at the latest though, to order your dress.
I think now is the time to order, a lot of places will make you pay a rush fee which not cheap if you don't order in certain amount of time.
My opinion is order now. Have you been looking for dresses at least? If you haven't even started looking, you might be surprised at how long the process can take. I would definitely get on it, better safe than sorry.
