To go dress shopping by yourself? Everyone is busy today and I am just sooooo impatient ! There has been a dress I have been eyeing for months and I have to try it on. Would any of you go on your own or wait for someone to give you opinions?

you can def go on your own if you'd like, but would your mom, sister, gma, bm's, etc feel like they were left out if you do end up finding the one? take that into consideration.... my mom was so crazy so even wanted to be there when i finally bought the dress and all i had to do was fill out a form and hand the CC... not even try on the dress LOL

lol You know what I was thinking the same thing about going to look at bridesmaids dresses today by myself.. Everyone is all hung over today from the wedding last night so I can't drag anyone LOL

i went by myself... i'm a private person and i'm the kind of person who needs to do things when i think of them. i was also on a time restraint because we are having a short engagement. i also needed to see a dress and look at it just as me... GOOD LUCK!!!

Not at all - besides you can always go back and take someone with you - show them your top selections - it's not like you will be bummed you have to go again!

Nooooooooo def. not bad. I went by myself the very first time. I was impatient and I didnt want anyone commenting on a dress that I really liked. I wanted to go dress shopping with no one flapping their opinions in my ear. I found THE DRESS on my own and the following week, everyone came to see me in my dress and they agreed.... it was THE DRESS for me

no this is how I ultimately made my decision I went with my mom and sisters but then went by myself so I wouldnt have other people's influence I actually think you should go then have family come back when u pick out a few to narrow it down. Sometimes other peoples opinions can change your mind. HTH

I went with people everytime but I dont think it is bad. You can see what you like that way and then go back and have someone with you .

I think it's a good idea to go on your own. You can always go back with others next time.

no i want to go alone too..ive been with people but i just cant find anything i like yet so im just gonna go back and try some more on alone i think but my mom does think im nuts
