that I am bringing my mom and my in-laws to look at a co-op tonight? We already saw it with my SIL but we plan on putting an offer in and we want to get as much feedback as possible. The only problem both of our parents are very opinionated and I don't want to real estate lady to get overwhelmed. Do you think they deal with crazy parents a lot when selling to newlyweds???? lol I mean. it's not like I am buying a couch, it's a freaking apartment!

I think its a great idea that you're bringing your parents and in-laws along, especially since you've already looked at it and have your own opinions on it. I think agents are prepared to deal with conflicting opinions when making such a huge decision. Like you said, its not just a couch or something! We brought my parents along (FMIL is our agent!) and it was really good to get their feedback. It also helps when you're trying to determine whether or not you can 'see' yourself living there. Besides you and your FH, your parents know you best and may be able to point out different things (good and bad) that may change or confirm your original feelings about the place. I say bring them along! Good Luck! It's soooo exciting finding a place!!!!!

You should have your parents and in-laws see it. They have the experience to give you an honest opinion. The real estate broker has probably heard it all and seen it all.
