if we don't do programs? I just don't feel the need or want to spend the money, but would you think it was weird if you went to a wedding without one?

I dont think its necessary unless you are having a complicated ceremony (like an indian ceremony).

I've actually never even seen this at a wedding so no I don't think it would be bad if you don't do it, lol, i'm not doing it for mine either. It's your own personal preference.

im not doing programs... one of the major reasons behind it is that a lot of people skip out on church so im not paying for 300 programs for the like 50 people thatll be at my ceremony lololl
i think its totally fine if you dont do them... honestly ive never been to a wedding where they had them anyway

My mother never saw one intill we went to a wedding last year! You can also make them yourself nothing fancy! But it would be fine if you dont have them

I didn't do programs and neither did the last wedding I attended. I don't think it's bad.

exactly my point! I am not a DIY'r so that wasn't really an option. Plus I asked a few weeks ago how much people spent on DIY programs and most people said more then companies wanted to charge for them to make 150 of them... just not an important detial to me

its all a matter of personal opinion. i think its nice this way everyone knows whats going on. also because i like the way it explains who everyone involved in the wedding is. i am doing them mainly because its a nice way to include a memory of those who have passed away.
my mom thought it was a waste of money until we where at a ceremony this weekend. she thought the programs where the greatest thing shes ever seen.
