Is it bad etiquette...(Another RSVP question)

Is it bad etiquette...(Another RSVP question)

Is it bad etiquette to fill out the RSVP card with the names of the people Im inviting. I dont have an inner emvelope to specify on. Or would it be okay if I wrote on the RSVP card the name of my guest and then + a number??

Example:

M.__Donny & Marie +2__

I don't think so....however, I may be wholly inappropriate in agreeing (i'm doing it anyway! )

i definitely wouldnt include a '+'

looks like you are giving people 2 guests! It would especially be problematic if you were trying to invite one person as a single and do:

'Mr. John Smith + 1'

looks like you are asking a date too.

Are you writing them in yourself with a regular pen? I dont wanna mess up my RSVPs, theyre so pretty!

I don't see any other way you can unless you're a printer wizard cuz i'm challenged in that area. Maybe you could get a pen/marker w/ a decorative tip or a metallic color?

eta: if you get someone w/ good handwriting it should come out fine

I let them fill in their names but I had a line that said 'X' number of seats have been reserved in your honor. I filled in the 'X' on each card. (I had an inner envelope too)

I wish I added that line on the RSVP. It would have made my life so much easier right now! And no inner envelope either (theyre pocketfolds)
