Is it bad luck to go shopping for bridesmaid dresses with the groom?

First, I gotta persuade him to go...
Is it weird to bring the groom?
By the way- I'm not going w/ anyone to avoid drama.

LOL FH and I are going to david's bridal tomorrow to go look at bm dresses. I'm sure I'm not making a final decision but this will give us some ideas. Never heard of it being bad luck...

I was so tempted to bring FH to look at wedding dresses. He never would have come though, he wants to be surprised!

I don't think it's strange to bring him to look at BM dresses.

I don't think is bad luck if u're only gonna focus on bms dresses...but remember the golden rules..NO WEDDING DRESSES for that day, not if if FH is present

and i really agree with you! i was having such drama with my BM dresses! and until they are actually ordered by everyone, i don't consider myself 'in the clear'...
i think i was giving hem too many options and they were running away with the choices. everyone is always not going to agree with someone else and opinions clash. in the end, i took my sister, my MOH, and had her try on a dress i loved. she loved it. and that was it. the next day i told everyone which dress it was and to order it.
so, go ahead with FH, have fun, pick out something YOU like and good luck!

Not at all!! FH is coming with me to look at the colors in person since we will be matching the tux vests

My biggest problem is that I'm trying to make everyone happy. Who wants purple, who want a-line, who wants tight... Apparently, they think Im running a circus!

this is exactly why i found a dress online, took my sister to try it on and just told the rest to buy it. your never going to make everyone happy, and quite honestly, it would be nice if they liked the dress, but not mandatory. its YOUR wedding and not theirs, when they are brides, they can find dresses that everyone loves and will make everyone happy.
my sister tried to make all of her BM's happy with the dress and it turned out to be a disaster and till this day, even when we went shopping together for my BM/MOH dresses, she always tells me that if she had to do it all over again, she would have all of her girls wear the dresses that she originally wanted and not tired to make everyone happy.
