FH's grandmother got the same color dress as my mom!??? My mom got her dress months ago and I'm pretty sure I've told everyone what color it was. FH's grandmother is not well health wise and just finally got one of her sisters to look for a dress for her. What are they chances they both get a dress at the same place and they are BOTH aubergine??? His grandmother apologized a million times and I know it's not her fault. And of course the grooms grandmother and the MOB are totally different people in the grand scheme of things and they probably won't be in any pictures together, but I just feel bad for my mom. It's such a beautiful color on her and she was so excited about it. It's such a different color, that I didn't expect anyone else to get the same! I just wanted her to really stand out. It's not like I can tell his grandmother to go look for a new dress now.

thank you! that's what i was thinking, but i wanted my mom to stand out a little too.
his grandmother said my mom will still stand out and she's not trying to steal her thunder, which i know. my mom just has had enough little problems with FH's family, that we didn't need to add this on top of it!

Well, she just decided that the plan will be to save as much as possible until spring, to see if they can have enough by 080809, or whether they need to push the date back to Nov. or whenever. She had a budget of $10,000, which grew to $14, 000. Other than this, nothing new. Thanks for asking!!!!! Mary MOB
