My dress is beautiful and needed NO alterations. I can't imagine ever having a need for it...the memories will be in the pictures. I figured why not help someone who may not be able to afford a full priced gown get it for less?
Am I crazy? Will I regret it?

Mine will go on ebay. I have moved enough times to know that's one of the things I might have loved for a time but don't want to move it or find a place to keep it.
If you are comfortable with it then go for it.

no you won't regret it. what are you going to do with it? I felt the same way and brought mine to a consignment shop, I figured maybe someone in a finanical hardship way would need a discounted dress.

Oh please. Not long after the wedding is over, Ebay here I come! It's not bad at ALL! And like you said, it will help someone!

i think that's wonderful of you. i wouldn't worry too much about it till after your married though. when your wedding is over and all the hubbub is kinda dying down then you can sit, reflect, relax and see how you feel about parting with your dress.
just another thought...you might make you dress a christening gown. that's what i hope to with mine. but again, proly take my own advice and see how i feel after the big day.
