Is it bad to have your Fiance come with you for your hair and makeup trial?

I am getting it done in the city and i want to go out to dinner after with him but i'm not sure if it's ok for him to see the hair and makeup for the day of the wedding. Please give me your feed back on this.

ummm.... I don't see a problem. I'm having one tomorrow and although FH is not coming with me I am going home right after and he will see it. I like getting his opinion. I know he will be honest with me and I want him to like how I look that day. The only thing I would be careful about is sometimes they ask you questions about your dress

i see nothing wrong with it. i did it!

honestly---people who say 'omg i can't believe you are gonna let him see you!' um---back up people. in the end his is the only opinion that i care about (besides my own) about my hair and makeup that day.

DH came with me to one of my trials---and i had the veil & tiara with me---as a matter of fact when he walked back in when my hair, makeup, and accessories were put on--he said 'Wow' and that was when I knew I had to book my hair stylist!

I didn't see FH the day/night I had my trials done... but I took pics and showed them to him. I think it's fine b/c day of will be 'the whole look' and nothing can top that!!

FH doesnt want to know anything about my dress, headpiece, veil and jewelry...for some reason he didnt mind see my hair and make up trial lol so yeah he saw both and i had no problem with it. I think he knows i wouldn't wear it up so not like it would be a big surprise or anything

No, not at all. I came right home with my hair and m/u done right after my trial and specifically asked him what he thought. It's no big deal at all.

it depends on how superstitious you are. I didn't let him see me after my hair trial, but makeup he'll see me because we're going to TWOTY. I would prefer he didn't but sh!t happens. Jsut do it...its not liek its going to ruin it for the wedding anyway. Maybe jsut have him occupy himself while you are physically there, and have the stylist brush your hair out after she's done so he dosen't know.


now if your bringing your headpiece, DONT let him see that...that's a horse of a diff color!

I think its a good thing. Im glad FH saw my makeup cause he hated it! So, i obvioulsy will be doing it differently for the day of.

not at all! FH had to drive me to my first trial, and my 2nd trial was at my place, and we live together, so he had no choice but to see it. he's seen my jewelry, headpiece, everything but the dress and undergarments, and that's what's most important to us.

I don't want my FH to see my hair done....I want it all to be a surprise for the day of. I want him to have no idea what to expect until i walk down that isle

I have already told FH that we are going out the night of my hair and makeup trail. If i am getting all dolled up might as well take advantage!

I don't think it really matters... cahnces are he won't remember it by the time the wedding comes and when you have your dress on, it's a totally different look. if you want him there, bring him!

I definitely want FH to see at least the make-up, bc I don't really wear a lot normally so I want to make sure he likes it...it's pretty important to me! Hair, whatever....if he sees it, he sees it....I probably wouldn't show him with my veil/hair jewelry though.....although you could always just take those things out before he sees you--they will change the look anyway!

it's fine! my DH even watched me get my hair and makeup done the morning of....but he didn't see me in my dress until later

unless you are superstitious who cares!

my FH already saw me try on dresses as well 'the dress' - but he saw me try on a sample size that was 10 sizes to big - the dress will look different once its fitted plus im having the neckline changed - so he has an idea of what i'll look like - but even i wont know how the dress looks until it comes in my size, with the pattern change and it actually fits me!

unless you want to totally shock your FH the day of the wedding than i think its ok if he sees your hair and makeup.....i am the type of person who likes to get my FH's feedback, and i like to hear his opinions.....i don't know if i'll bring him to my trials though b/c everyone has an opinion on how i should wear my hair and i dont want to hear it - i want to do what i want with my hair....i dont want to wear it a certain way because everyone said said i should.....so i plan on having two trials for two different styles - one up and one down and i will see how i feel the morning of the wedding

I dont think so, my FH was home when i got my 2nd trial done, and I wanted to know his opinion to see if its what he envisioned to. I say as long as he doesnt see the whole ensemble put together, dress, shoes, jewlery, hair , makeup......then itll still be a surprise!!
