i already have my china picked out, but i feel like the woman at macys said that there was some sort of incentive and now i can't remember.
eta: right now, my china is the same price at both bbb and macys, but i feel like i saw a deal at macys that said it was buy one, get one free. maybe that was just a sale and it's over now?

Macy's does have a lot of incentives that come and go so it very well might've been a promotion. I registered more at BBB because they send out tons of 20% off one item coupons, accept more than one per purchase, and accept expired coupons.
They also give cash back on registry returns!

I think both places have different things to offer... for example I am probably going to buy bedding at Macy's because I like their selection way better than BBB, but BBB has so many little things that we would love to register for!
Why not do both? Then again, I haven't looked at the China in Macy's yet...

You might get a better deal on China at macys...they have great sales, and also do promotions where the soup bowl comes free.
You can always do half at each place...

I registered for my china at BBB because they honor what ever sale is going on at Macy's plus the additional 20%.
That's how my FMIL bought my place settings.

Re: is it better..
BBB coupons dont work on my china set so i did it at Macy's to get the free bowl.
For the every day plates I put them on both because the prices were simliar when they have sales and I'll manage the registries when they are bought so I dont get 24 plates

Re: is it better..
Macys only had a sale buy one get one... My china was more expensive at Macy than BBB by almost $40.

I think BBB. They have a lot of the same stuff as Macys and will be cheaper. I know they don't have a lot of the stuff in the store but you can look through the catalog for things that can be ordered through the website. Also, I think more people get coupons for BBB.

I registered my china on both websites and I go on and deducted when someone buys from each. Macys has amazing sales my china is $200 a place setting and it was on sale and buy one get one and it came down to 2 settings for $160.... Beats the 20% BBB coupon.
