JT and I have gone into this whole wedding planning with zero idea of what to expect. We don't have any strange requirements of our vendors, we don't even really know what we're looking for when we go see a vendor....BUT I've found that my lack of a clear cut idea of what this wedding should be, it's been a wonderfully pleasant experience. I just always imagined myself having all these specific ideas about my wedding, and I just don't, really. It's so nice to go with the flow and decide as I go along. Anyone else not hugely concerned with the specifics, or am I just weird?

I am going with the flow...I had very specific ideas about my wedding (dress, favors, theme etc.).
Well, none of the things that i 'thought' i would want is what i am having. With each vender comes new and exciting ideas. I love it and my wedding is actually turning into the wedding of my dreams

Oh good, I'm glad because I thought maybe I was crazy! I don't know, I just refuse to have stress over this. I feel like we have enough time to save, enough time to book, etc. It's nice.

That's SO how I feel about a lot of things. I just feel so happy to be getting married that some things just don't seem as important in comparison. Go figure, I always thought I was a BEOTCH and now I could care less!

LMAO! I also have no idea what rose is what, which flowers are in season - like, I don't care. LOL when you think about it, have you ever really seen *ugly* flowers? how bad could it be? LOL
The only thing I think i'll be particular about is how i look - yep TOTALLY VAIN when it comes to the big day!! There's a lil of the beotchness creepin in!

Me too. We are very laid back and open to suggestions. Like ThongLori, I am more picky about things like my dress and stuff like that than anything else. It's funny because the vendors are expecting us to come in knowing exactly what we want. We have no idea and they look at us like we are from outter space

I thought I had specific ideas of what I wanted when I started looking but when I started meeting with vendors I kinda went with the flow. When you find a vendor you are comfortable with you really find that they are full of ideas and you do give them more free reign then you think you would - I know I was so surpised with myself.
My florist - yeah, totally let him run with it and I couldn't have been happier. DJ, met with him, told him what I liked and he ran with it. Photographer, him I made a little crazy but it was worth it - I just specified what my style was and he did not disappoint. However, when it came to my hair and makeup........yeah, the bridezilla in me TOTALLY kicked in.

I thought the same thing, I always thought I would know exactly what I wanted but now that I am going through it I have no clue!
