Is it just me or have other future brides felt like thier fh isnt really interested in the wedding planning and just yeses u to death. So frustrated... I love him to death wish he would be into it. im soo excited.

i feel the same way!!! i just had a talk with him because i realized that was really bothering me and he told me that he was sorry and that he would definitely start helping me. its not like us girls can handle everything by ourselves, i mean we can but its a lot easier with help. so no you're not the only one

no u are not alone..but the wedding may be our dream come true..and hey theyre just looking for a dream wife..so be it ..they all seem to snap into it much later ..like 2 -3 months before the day

Don't let it get you down! It's just one of those things with men! My FH is the SAME way! He says he wants a really nice wedding and the best for us on that day but he doesn't show it at all! He's full of 'yeses' too and lots of 'sures'

awww......don't feel bad!! it happens to a lot of brides. some guys are just not into the details and such---and can't get excited like we do!
there's nothing worse than researching something--finding the one you want...and showing it to your FH with such excitement....and then they say 'uh-huh, okay' with such deadpan delivery! (does this sound familiar?)
just use the boards to vent--and show ideas and we will get excited for ya!!!

Well, my FH and I were engaged on Aug 20 of last year. I asked all the girls I wanted to be in the BP right away................................... Needless to say FH still hasn't asked anyone yet, and if I ask him who he wants he laughs

Really depends on the guy. Men move slower than women so if you want him involved, as him to handle something but be prepared for him to be thorough and take 3x as long.
My fiancee wants in on ALL decisions but he takes a lot longer to make them. It took me a while to get used to that.

my FH likes to be involved with certain things, the hall he loved going with me but when it came time to go to the photographer's studio 4 times before we booked and then office was 45 min away he was a little hesitant... as was i! But when I first got engaged all I did was want to make appts with everyone but after our engagement party and that planning and booking the photographer he made me realize that we just should relax for now.. it is still a yr and a half away..but honestly I really think it depends on what vendor appts you are going to... He might want to be included in the DJ appts but could care less about flowers
