Is it just me or does anyone else feel exhausted this time of the year (work vent)
This stuff is killing me.
I've been out every night this week. Monday was Physical Therapy, Tuesday was Insurance association function, Wednesday was Client Meeting, Thursday (today) was team meeting to change over dept heads and Im just HOPING tomorrow I have nothing.
Lets not forget the HOURS I spend NOT at my desk in various client related meetings during the day, the ridiculous amount of time I spend on the phone making time to see these people in person, the silly stuff of talking to other teams lately about NOT having time to meet up for meetings, having meetings about new meetings we should have (im serious.. i actually sit in on this for an hour - the irony) and meetings where we discuss not having meetings unless there's cookies (who cares?)
I get to work a half hour early and eat lunch at my desk and I still feel WEEKS behind. I have 120 unread emails!!!!
This is only getting started..
Next is all the client xmas parties and lunches I go to since we 'love' our clients!! Kiss up Kiss up! Office Xmas party, Association Xmas party, Client offical parties, Insurance Carrier Xmas parties and some GENIUS decided now was the time for a full day training course..
