Is it ME?

Or do we really see the true side to people while planning a Wedding?

My Stepmom's Brother and SIL aren't coming because we didn't invite their kids to our Wedding. It is an Adult ONLY Reception and the only kids there are my little sister's and niece's! Besides I didn't have to invite them anywas I was just being nice but now thats a family war because we are never invited to their stuff anyways and their defense is because they always have kids parties so my Dad said yeah well this is an adult party so they were like well _____ and _____ are going, my Stepmom was was like THEY ARE HER SISTER'S (Two of my Sister's are 4 & 6)

My Sister's MIL and SIL aren't coming because of their own family issue's but they acted like they were coming and then I got a decline

One of my Bridesmaids I found out was talking about me and how she never wanted to be a part of my Wedding so now I am not talking to her

FMIL seems to think that this is her Wedding

I hate that this shows you a lot because it's such a happy time but I am glad I can see things.

i agree you see true colors..i kinda regret not asking my fsil to be a maid of honor and asked my friend and wish i hadnt and have to stop myself from telling her i want her to just be a bridesmaid...

noone understands the pressure and stress of planning because they either forgot or havent done it yet and they need to back off

Ugh, I'm sorry you have to deal with all of that! It really does bring out the worst in people. But just be sure that on the day of, you don't let anything ruin YOUR day!!!

I've noticed alot of this lately too! I would never invite my children places they didn't belong, it's so strange!

It's SO true. Weddings have a nasty habit of bringing out the worst in people. It's very unfortunate that during a time that is supposed to be filled with excitement and joy, the ugliness of some people, some unexpected ones at that, really comes out...
