I'm not trying to offend ne one - but, I feel like these popular hair dressers on LIW are just repeating the SAME EXACT hair styles on everyone, regardless of what compliments their face..........

I can see you point. I feel like I will get mine at least a little different than the standard. Mainly because I don't curl well and my hair is not so long. You can always look from photos and stuff to get ideas for them to try, you don't have to leave it up to them.

i was thinking the same thing. but i think they're doing it because the girls request it. sometimes you go through different hair threads and see the same pictures over and over again. i think we need to start a new hair thread.

You're right, i noticed that too...and I'm pretty sure people aren't bringing in the same exact pictures...they all look nice though..

You must be talking about the half up and half down look with the poofiness on top and curls. Yes alot of girls get that and that is a very popular style. That is how I always pictured my hair regardless of what everyone else is getting. It looks best on me than an all up do.

yeah i think this is one of the reasons. i mean when you look up hair pics on here a LOT of the same ones always come up. so usually you're gonna find the same thing on others.
i had a common 1/2 & 1/2 style myself---did it look like a lot of other ppl? sure...do i care? nope. it worked for me

Exactly! All that matters is that it looks good on the bride.
Those 2 general styles are very 'bridal' looking, and they really do work for most people.

well theres only like three styles to choose from lol.. all up, all down, or 1/2 up 1/2 down.. so i don't think it's the vendors forcing the hair styles on the girls it's just what the girls want.

lol i agree, but I'm going with it too, its what works for me, i look like a boy with a complete up-do and my hair is to much completly down... But like 10 years ago everyone went the famous french twist or bun.. it happens, its a trend, and were all on the waggon

So exactly which hairstyle are we talking about? Just wondering if I had it at my wedding. I went with what I was comfortable with and I used my regular stylist, not one of the popular ones on here... I actually wore my hair mostly down.
People should wear their hair however THEY want to wear it and however they feel comfortable. Period. If they all choose the same way and someone else feels it doesn't flatter them, who cares? They looked in the mirror and took pictures and were happy with it. That's all that matters.

I totally agree. I like this style too. It was what I wanted before any of the girls posted their pics.
I think its just a very 'bridal style' and its very popular now..big hair and all, ya know.
Also, how different can half up/ half down with curls look...so it all looks like the same style.
Although, it does look different on eveyone obviously. I look nothing like MPAS and I have red hair and different makeup and coloring and dress and all..so I will still look like me and she will look like her.
