Is it me or are all

Stamps ugly .... I went to 3 different post offices and none of the stamps they had screamed wedding????

This may be dumb but where did u purchase your stamps and would you please post it???

Regular stamps or the 60 cent stamps? We bought the pink flower 60 cent stamps and the love 37 cent stamps. Those seemed to fit the most. Sorry, I don't have a pic.

We used some national park stamp or something since that was all that was available (the rates changed just before we mailed our invites). Would you believe not one person commented about the stamp? Seriously, there are so many things you can worry and do something about, this is not one of them and none of your guests will be checking out the stamp.

This is so true. I never even noticed the stamp on any invite I have ever received until I was thinking about what stamp to use for mine.

they also have these out now but not sure if they come in .60...

Considering our date is July 4th I have contemplated using the regular old flag stamps... they almost seem as appropriate for a wedding close of on a national holiday. I also think people are expecting me to incorporate some aspect of the holiday into my wedding... not a big fan of red, white and blue color combo so we might just stick with the stamps.

I know it seems like such a small little thing...but i am into details, I always check out the presentation of things....it may be over the top to bother with it but i was just thinking with all the brides out there that spend sooooo much $ on wedding invites that you would think they would make something suited to the occasion ....and why not they have it for all other hoildays, occasions and interests...

BTW I ended up using the pink flower ones... good thing i kept looking I am happy with these...

Same here! and the postal worker even commended me for being so relaxed about the whole thing. I guess most brides are unhappy with the stamp selection.
