Is it obnoxious...

To get a hair and makeup trial before going to a wedding of someone you're not that close to? I have my brother in law's sister's wedding in June and I'd really like to start getting trials to see what I like but I dont know if it would look obnoxious going to a wedding soooooo done up.

its all up to you. if u feel comforable all done up then go for it. if ur going to feel strange if all eyes are on you i would think about it.
i think its a perfect time to get a trial.

no way- do it!!!! not only will it be a way for you to test hair and makeup out- you will look and feel great at the wedding and why not?

I kind of feel like it would be good to see how it really stands up because it will be hot since it's summer (even though my wedding will not be in the summer). So it's not too much? I would have tried to look nice anyway but I wanted to be sure it wouldnt look like I was trying to top anyone.

I think it's a good idea. I don't think it's obnoxious just make sure you try to do the most 'natural' look on that day - I mean if you are testing which look is the best - no?

I want to try to do one for my e-party.

i doubt it- many people go all out for weddings- it will look great- what's the worst that can happne people say you look good?

Sure why not. If it looks too done up and you're uncomfortable you can always tone it down.

go for it...i did that...i ended up takng mine out because it came out like a curly brown helmet, but i think its a great idea!

Well, you have to get your hair done up anyway for the wedding. My girlfriend is getting married this July and if I plan on doing a hair trial then I would definitely do it around the time of the wedding.
