Originally my mother was making my veil. I love her for trying, twice, but its just not coming out the way I want it. She is really trying but our taste is total opposite. I have told her exactly how i want it but for some reason she keeps doing her own thing and I cant see myself walking in public with what she made.
So now i have to buy a veil which i wasnt planning on doing. Then I got to thinking....is it ok not to wear a veil at all? Originally I didnt want to wear one but had agreed because the mothers flipped and my mom wanted to make it but now that i have to spend money on it i'm thinking i just wont wear one at all.
Anyone not wearing a veil?

As of right now I am not wearing one, but I might change my mind. At my MU trial my MA pulled one out and it really changed the look of a regular pic to a wedding pic. Sooo I may use one for pics only?
But I cannot see myself wearing one for the ceremony. I can't stand anything in my face.

My friend didn't wear a veil she wore white silk flowers in her hair. Everyone's taste is different I'm wearing one because being catholic I only get to wear a veil twice in my life my communion and wedding but if I wasn't getting married in a church I would not be wearing one

You do what makes you feel comfortable. Every girl has her own vision of her wedding....and in yours, its veil-less. It doesn't make you any less of a bride!

Not sure yet.. i have to wait to try on dresses and see everything together (veil and no veil) but i'll probably end up wearing one.
But no, I don't think you have to wear one.

I think it's fine not to wear a veil but if you want to then just go on ebay they have veils for less than 20.

It is totally fine not too. Its your wedding day, do what makes you happy! If you decide last minute you want one, Im sure you will have no problem finding a beautiful one that matches your dress!

When I tried on the veils I hated how they looked, but I'm wearing one that doesn't cover my face, just my hair.

you really don't need one, I wasn't gonna do it until my mom and MOH suckered me in to it by saying that my dress is the type of dress u wear a veil with.
