Is it ok to send out the registry card with shower invites or is it tacky?

Of couse it is okay - its lets people know eher you registered and what you need.

It is ok with shower invites, just not the wedding invite

I agree - it is acceptable to send them out in shower invitations, but not in wedding invitations.

I would think yeah, the whole point of the registry is to let people know what gifts you want/need. There's no point in sending the invites then the reg cards. Send them all at once, it's not tacky, it's practical!

As long as your bridal party is doing the sending You shouldn't send them yourself
