Random question I know... but is it ok to give a little peanut butter to my dog? (i really hope so).
I had to leave him in his crate today until lunch time and i felt so bad so I put a little pb in his kong toy for him to lick and ran out of the house...I didnt even think if it was ok until now!
I think my dad used to do this for our other dogs when they were pups...

Peanut butter is ok for dogs but not too much at one time.
Peanut butter is definitely ok for dogs ... It's my yorkie Bella's favorite!! it is the only way I can get her to take her heart-worm meds by covering it in peanut butter!!!

Peanut butter is okay but just be prepared for mushy poop. Sorry if that's TMI but it's true.

peanut butter is def ok for dogs! my dogs never have people food but when I made peanut butter blossom cookies for xmas i let them like the pb off the spoon...shhh don't tell FH!

Yeah! You can't make a pb and jelly sandwich at my parent's house without an audience of their 2 labs! The funniest is when some ends up on the younger dogs nose and his tongue makes this slapping noise trying to get it off (I'm easily amused!)

definitally ok I was told by Bailey's trainer to pu tit in his Kong toy to keep him occupied when he is in the crate.

PB is fine for dogs. My vet recommends it.

ok great thanks ladies!!! I knew he would love it but i didn't know if it was actually OK to do it..
I left him in his crate today cause my mom is not around to babysit and I feel so bad. I am so anxious for lunch so I can go home and walk him
haha FH says im such a 'mom' when it comes to this dog.

Yes PB is completely safe for dogs. But as everything should be in moderation. There are actually some chew toys that store PB in the center and the dog chews and tries to get the PB out. This occupies their time and gives them a treat while you are out. You may want to try this:

Yea thats what he has, i put the pb in it today for him.. He goes crazy for that dumb toy

Yes PB is safe for dogs. My dogs are obsessed with PB. They know when we open the container, they come running in. They LOVE it! So cute to watch them eat the PB out of a bone.

Dogs love the kong toy......and will go crazy over PB in the kong toy.
