Is it ok to have an untraditional wedding march?

I was cruising the websites you guys gave me for wedding songs and found ceremony songs-like instead of using the traditional bridal march, people are using more contemporary music. Since w eare not getting married in a church, do you think this would be ok?

I LOVE the song, 'God Bless the Broken Road' by Rascall Flatts because it totally sums up our relationship but didnt wnat to use it for our wedding song because its been heavily overdone. They have instrumental versions of it that are lovely. Do y'all think that would be allright for me to walk down the aisle to?

you can use whatever you want... I used all Beatles music for the ceremony - the BP walked down to 'Here, There, Everywhere' and I walked down to 'Something'

I just read somewhere that a couple used the music from Bittersweet Symphony

i love that song too. i think it's great!

i walked down the aisle to 'the way you look tonight' frank sinatra.

especially since it's not a church wedding, you can use any music you want.

I walked down the aisle to From This Moment On from Shania Twain and used This Will Be from Natalie Cole for the recessional. If your ceremony location doesn't have any restrictions on the music use what makes you happy.

Yup!

Unless you're getting married in a church that would object to the music you choose, do whatever you want! It's your day!
