How bad will it be if mine are about a week late? They still have 3 weeks to respond and it would be about 7 weeks before the wedding...
Also, I had sent out save the dates so everyone knows the date anyway...
is it really bad of me to be a week late?

A lot of people send their invitations out 6 weeks before the wedding. I would not worry

Really? Ok great. I don't know why, but for some reason, the invitations have stressed me out more than any other part of this wedding planning I think.... I'm so sad.

We gave our guests about 6 weeks to respond and we still didn't get a bunch of responses back by the RSVP date (we also sent out save the date cards). Three weeks isn't much time to respond so prepare for the possibility of calling a lot of people after your response date.

I am getting married the day after you,,and my reposne date is 9-18-05. My invites were sent out on 8-19.
Dont worry about it,,the people who would of replied yes one week ago will still reply yes one week later....

My cousin didn't send out her invites until 5wk before her wedding and only gave about 1wk before the RSVP date! Her wedding was on Sunday and everything ended up working out just fine with her wedding. Don't stress too much about it.

I agree with this. We gave our guest six weeks and are still waiting to get back 28 RSVP cards (out of 100). I'm glad I sent them out earlier.
I would try to get them out as soon as you can without stressing yourself out.

3 weeks to respond isn't very long, but I think that will just be more incentive for them to send it back right away and not 'forget'
