Is it ok to wear suede peep toe shoes for a june wedding?
Will they be too hot? Is that a fashion faux pas?
(I don't care if you like the actual shoe posted below...just want to get a sense of whether or not suede is ok in the summer....?)

I didn't answer the poll b/c I have no idea if it's a faux pas but those are adorable!! the only thing I'm thinking is if you're going to be walking in grass/beach at all and it might be wet they might get ruined.....but other than that I'd say go for it--it's your day, who cares about shoe etiquette!

Sure, where whatever you want. Suede is just as ok to wear in the summer as strappies are to wear in December. They're only on your feet. And it's not like the inside of the shoe is suede, so it really doesn't matter I don't think.

i answers yes cuz their a light color it shouldnt matter but then again i wear white all year round and i think im doing a major no no!

ok i love the shoes but i voted no bc I think Suede is a big no-no over the summer. Some people don't care, so go with what makes you happy. If it was May i'd say go for it...June is pushing it in MHO. Sorry

hmmm....I sort of know what you're thinking maybe....I usually don't use suede or leather bags in the summer in general just b/c I get sweaty and I don't want to hold them while I'm sweaty (nice and gross for ya).....so I really don't know!

Do you want to get technical? then yes, probably. But to answer your other question, I have this purple suede hobo that I rock in the summer sometimes cause I love the color. Especially if I'm going out with just a black top and jeans.

JMO - I would want a lighter shoe during the summer, a slip on or strappy sandle. But my feet are permanently hot, so I guess that's why!
If you really like the style, go for it!

hmmm....I sort of know what you're thinking maybe....I usually don't use suede or leather bags in the summer in general just b/c I get sweaty and I don't want to hold them while I'm sweaty (nice and gross for ya).....so I really don't know!
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking about with mah tootsies!! My feet sweat a lot normally, so I'm wondering if they'll be stinky for the wedding.

Thats what I'm thinking....but I do rock leather handbags in the summer. I'd feel more comfy rocking leather than suede....
I just know myself, and like someone mentioned, I WILL get them ruined somehow during the day...
