Is it okif my RB doesnt carry anything down the aisle? I mean, if he's not going to be carrying the real rings on the pillow then is it necessary to have at all? He'll be walking down with the FG who will be throwing petals so I figured that might be enough. Then I was thinking maybe I'll just ask him what he wants to do and leave it up to him?

i think its better for him to have a 'job' to do ... even if its carrying a pillow down that has fake rings on it.
it will focus his attention, and this way he won't fight over wanting to hold the FG's basket or toss petals.

i would give him a pillow even if its a small nothing pillow. Depending on his age he might feel why does the fg have something and i don't. I didn't have my rb carry the rings at all and luckily he didn't care.

I completely forgot about my RB pillow....I am a bad Auntie LOL Can't I just have him carry a toy truck?? He'd be so much happier that way

I don't think there is any specific RULE that says he Has to carry a pillow....If he doesn't want to then no Biggie - I would probably ask him what He wanted - Nobody else will mind except for him or you - so again..No Biggie!! Maybe his job can be to take care of the Flower Girl!!
