Is it okay to lift weights when you have a cold?
I just got a cold, urgh!!! I usually take a step class on Wednesdays, but I can barely breath. I am thing about taking the Body Shape class instead tomorrow. Do you think I'll make the cold worse?

Re: Is it okay to lift weights when you have a cold?
It is perfectly okay to workout when you have a cold. Some parts of the medical field actually encourage it because it will help you recover faster from it! Personally I would exercise! If you feel better taking the Shape class then do that, no matter what it will make you feel better! The step class might help drain your sinuses, take Day Quil and Zinc lozengers! Exercise will not make you get worse only better!

Thanks for the feedback Julie. I actually ended up in the doctor's office instead of the gym. I was so congested, I had to go. I have a sinus infection, so he gave drugs. I am feeling better, I hoping to get back in the gym on Saturday.Welcome New Vendors
