Is it okey to send Bridal Shower Invites before Save the Dates?
So I am a little behind on my save the dates since my wedding will be 5 months away. My friend was going to design them and then he backed out last minute. I am going to go order them this week, but my sister is now mad at me since my first Bridal Shower is a month away and she hasn't sent out the invites yet.
She says that she can't send the shower invites before I send the Save the dates? I think she is wrong.

Honestly, I think you missed the boat with the STDs. Five months away isn't all that much time - you will probably be sending your invites in another 2-3 months.

I think you should probably forget the save the dates. It is cutting close to the actual wedding invites.

i agree that i wouldn't worry abotu save the dates. those usually go out almost a year ahead. at this point, you'll be sending out your wedding invitations soon... honestly, i would actually skip the STDs at this point... its money that you don't really need to spend. good luck!

I think you should have sent STD invites b4 u send bridal shower invites. Things happen u can still send STD n wait a couple of days {3} and send bridal shower invites. Anyway when is the perfect time to send the invites

I too agree. I think you missed the boat for the STDs. This isn't a bad thing, it can save you money One less thing to pay for

I didn't do save the dates because I had an engagement party, so everyone knew when my date was. Think of the same going for your bridal shower invites. People will probably get confused and think that your STD's are your invites.

I kind of agree. At this point, I wouldn't spend the money on them.

I agree with your sister. You are waaaaay late with the STDs. They should go out no less than six months in advance. At this point I would say don't waste the money on them.

No STDs-I would get those bridal shower invites out right away.
