Is it possible

To get a grooms cake under $300 bucks???? Geesh my wedding is small I'm only having about 50-60 guests I checked with 2 bakeries one vendor wanted to charge me 340 for a dry cake (I did the tasting and it was drier than a cottonball) another baker was charging me $400 because red velvet is a 'specialty flavor' but her cake was tasty I just thought it was a little pricey.

call a bakery and DONT say you want a grooms cake lol!. im sure if you asked for a regular cake w/ decorations for a bday or soemthing they would charge less lol! Fiorrello Dolce in Huntington has great cakes idk if they decorate them really but maybe they do? lol wish i was more help, good luck!

Hi i am using sweet melissa's cakes she is a recommended vendor on here for my engagment cupcakes and we did a tasting of red velvet and they where amazing and her prices are pretty good....good luck hope u find somebody

OMG I was thinking about doing this but I would need the cake delivered to the RH. How do I go about dealing with this.

Since we met online and my FH always hugs me and says, 'thanks for clicking', I'm having a big computer mouse with a figure of me standing in front made for the rehearsal dinner. A cake big enough for 40 people is costing me $185. My stepdad is picking it up the night of the rehearsal dinner.

Check out The Cake Gallery of Bellmore...he's on facebook and his work is outstanding! I'm getting chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling.

My wedding is next week so I can post pics then!
