Is it possible to find a bridal suite for less $300???

Every place I called is $300 and above. I want to stay in Suffolk around the Ronkonkoma area since the ceremony is in ronkonkoma. It just seems like so much especially since I will only be getting ready there in the morning and them me and FI will be sleeping there one night.
Then I was thinking what if I just booked a basics room with king size bed. Do you think it will be too crammed to have me and bm's and hair and makeup people there in a room if it is not a suite? Where is everyone else staying??

are you blocking rooms for people? if so, maybe you could block rooms at a hotel you like and then maybe they'd give you a break on your room.

That's what happened for us... we blocked rooms at wyndam wind watch and we got the jr. suite for the wedding night for 200 instead of 350... good luck.

are any of your BM staying at the hotel because they are OOT? you could get adjoining rooms..open up the doors and then you have a suite! We got dressed at the hall so my dress wouldn't wrinkle..good thing too cuz it was raining and quite windy that morning

I actually didn't block any rooms for oot guests. I think I may just have to suck it up and pay.

We are probably just getting a regular room. We will only be there for a few hours anyway... and as long as there is a bed and a shower thats all we need!

We got a really good deal at the Marriot because my FMIL is having the RD there. I think that we might be paying what our hotel guest are, but I'm not sure. FMIL booked the room for us.

Oh- my mother almost blocked at Holiday Inn Express. (We are doing everything at the Marriot for the reason stated above.) She didn't have to pay anything to block the rooms. I don't think that any place she talked to required that. (But I could be wrong).

we are staying at a great place called the white hous on high street - the rooms are huge and since i booked out the entire place we got a great discount - all the bms and i are getting ready there White House on High Street Link

We got a regular room at the Garden City Hotel (which is beautiful) - its a superior king.

$250 a night

$170 a night if you are blocking rooms

Definitely try the courtyard marriott in lake ronkonkoma. i'm staying in their suite for about 150 a night.

go on the website for holiday-inn (look up centereach/stonybrook) its 10 minutes from the MC and you can book online for like 220!

they also have executive suites which are basically regular rooms with Jacuzzi tubs, this is what we are doing b/c we figure we are going to spend so little time in the room we dont want to spend alot on it (we are leaving for our HM the next day!)

courtyard marriot in ronkonkoma - i have the number if you need it - i think it's under $150 a night for the suite......that's where we'll be staying this Saturday night!!!
