to feel symptons a month into taking BCP??? Its been a month since I started them and for the past week Ive been feeling chest pains (not servere...but chest pains)..is it possible for symptons to start a month later?? Just curious....I know many of you will say go to the Dr. which I am going to do this afternoon...just curious to know what you girls think...
He did an EKG to search for any blot clots...thank God it came out normal...he said that my pain is most likely due to stress or to my WPW syndrome...which is fine he said...he said I should contact him if my legs begin to hurt and if I become serverly short of breath...other then that he said not to worry...

Chest pains as in sore, tender b00bs or as in your heart? If it's the latter, definitely check with a doctor asap. When I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo my I felt sore and tender all month long. I switched to Yasmine (this was all 3 years ago) and now, it's only a week or so before my period, or sometimes not at all.

I would ask your Dr when you and see her/him today. I felt side effects for the first month or so when I started taking them. My boobs were extremely sore, not chest pains though.

Takes a little while for your body to get used to the hormones. Is boob tenderness usual for you, before you started bc ? Still happens to me on occassion, they get huge and sensitive, but not bothersome enough to stop taking bc.

If it's tenderness and a bit of soreness, then that's normal. When I first read your post, I though you meant chest pain

If you ever think it is heart related - get to a doctor. I am 40 years old, on BC, and have recently been to a cardiologist. My problem turned out to be stress related, and also a misdiagnosis by my internist. Never hurts to be careful. I just wanted to make sure that I can stay on BC !

I didnt see this orig post Millie but I felt symptoms after about 2 wks or earlier on the pill. Im glad to hear your docs appt went good!!

OMG, girl
I just saw ur post, I am going through the same sh@@@, I have been on BC for 3 weeks, and a few days ago I started having some weird leg cramps
My boobs feel sooooo sore as well, not to mention the fact that I went to D cup ( I was a C cup a month ago )
I was actually wondering if sympoms can occur into weeks of taking BC

definitely get it checked out!!! BCP (ortho evra) causes blood clots...pleaseee go to the doctor if you have any symptoms. check out their website. they have tons of warnings.

I make myself nervous I swear..when you read the package insert and you see all the things that can go wrong all of a sudden you start feeling EVERY SINGLE SYMPTON...lol
