Is it really Bad Luck if...

Someone get married on a MONDAY? I want to change my date and my mother is telling me that a Monday wedding is bad luck

Not if it's a holiday Monday!

And I have never heard of such a thing...and trust me, I'm superstitious.

Because it is a Holiday that day and it is FH B-day

Never heard of it either! It's mush less expensive on a week day. But even if it is a hoilday Monday, a lot of people who work in retail don't always get off like offices and banks do, so it may not be to convient a day for some. Plus people may not party as late if they have work the next day.

I have never heard that. The only problem I see is that it might be hard for people to make a wedding on a Monday -- unless it's a holiday.

We're getting married on a Wednesday -- but we'll be in Puerto Rico....
